Athan Bilal is an open-source software application that prioritizes user privacy by remaining ad-free and not collecting personal data. It provides accurate calculations of Muslim prayer times for thousands of cities worldwide, utilizing various calculation methods including Umm Alqurra, Muslim World League, Egyptian Survey Authority, Karachi Islamic University, ISNA, UIOF, and Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf.

The application features the recorded voices of seven well-known Muezzins: Abdulbaset from Egypt, Ali Mulah from Mecca, Asehery from Medina, Alqatami from Riyadh, Ismail Cosar from Turkey, Kefah Issa from Palestine, and Riad Ait Ahmou from Algeria, each offering a distinct Fajr version.

Athan Bilal supports both Arabic and English languages and operates offline on most Android devices, including recent versions. Users may notice some discrepancies between the prayer times provided by Athan Bilal and those observed by local mosques. In such instances, it is advisable to:

• Adjust the calculation method in the application’s location settings.
• If your town or commune is located close to a larger city, consider using the larger city's name in the location settings for improved accuracy.
